The range of activities of the Association for quality in skid resistance testing (GGM) includes the following services:- Preparation of quality guidelines for skid resistance testing
- Regular meetings and constant exchange of experiences with producers and customers
- Permanent advancement of the testing methods in cooperation with the Federal Highway Research Institute "Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (BASt)" and producers
- Public relations, presentations and lectures
- Contributions to the preparation of guidelines and regulations for the German Road and Transport Research Association (FGSV)
- Comparative testing for quality assurance
- Research on technical questions, e.g. impact of temperature
