The “Association for quality in skid resistance testing” (Gütegemeinschaft Griffigkeitsmessungen), as a professional body, vouches for high quality skid resistance measurements. This is ensured by compliance with both the applicable regulations and the self-imposed high quality standards as well as by permanent advancement of the quality of skid resistance measurements.

Furthermore, the association, which includes almost all SKM-operators in Germany, is involved in the preparation of the technical guidelines and regulations, and thus it forms the link between the regulations (theory) and the execution (practice).
